At the Centre of Wellbeing we provide the space and the contacts to enable people from all walks of life to pursue their personal ideal of complete wellbeing. We completely understand that all of us are individuals, and each person’s path to full wellbeing will be different. Some people come to us because they have some personal challenges in their life such as stress and anxiety, others simply choose to use our space and services to top up their mindfulness and wellbeing.
We have created a network of professionals who support our aims and deliver services either within the Centre of Wellbeing’s studios and treatment rooms or at other spaces, but each of them are tried, tested and trusted friends of ours so we can be sure that all our recommendations can meet your particular needs, and will be of the highest quality.
We value each person as unique and yet, we promote ourselves as a community too through classes, seminars & clubs. We proactively seek alternative remedies, self-healing techniques, complete skin care, nutrition and ancient teaching to achieve healing without chemicals and we embrace traditional and pioneering methods too. We strive to remind ourselves of the power we all have within us and then work on building our belief so that we can live our lives to the full.
We have 3 beautiful rooms to hire:
- The Studio: a large, airy, first floor room suitable for workshops, classes, training & mat fitness.
- The Treatment Room: a good sized, first floor space for beauty treatments and 121 talking therapies
- The Attic Studio: a rainbow tent covered, second floor studio suitable for small workshops, classes & mat fitness.

Claire Evans is the Founder of The Centre of Wellbeing and here's her story:
Up until 2010 I had lived a fairly stable, happy life with challenges that I was able to manage myself. Then I decided to separate from my husband at the same time as our family business met with the recession and a major shift in our business model.
It was one of those 'my world's just been turned upside down!' moments and whilst I carried on living day to day I could feel my identity slipping away and disconnection draining me.
Fortunately, our local nurse practitioner suggested meditation as a good way forward for me and the rest, as they say, is history!
My journey led me to connect with mindfulness and I qualified as a Coach in 2011 and started regular class sessions in 2013. Mindfulness is my passion and I believe that mindful living has benefits for everyone! It is a very experiential practice so if you would like to know more, drop in to a class - it's the best way!
I am also hugely passionate about spreading the word around wellbeing and encouraging people to explore the options available, we too often seek solutions to our ailments that simply are not able to address the underlying cause.
The Centre of Wellbeing is now a physical building where you can come and meet like-minded & like-hearted people and experience some practices and therapies. However, the bigger purpose is that The Centre is also a signpost to all the wonderful therapies and practices in the surrounding area so that you only have to visit one place to be connected with all things wellbeing.
I also facilitate creative projects around positive mental health because I genuinely believe that maintaining our wellbeing, reduces health challenges (mental or physical).
Please embrace The Centre of Wellbeing and all that we represent, be a part of this community by becoming a member and 'be well, think well and feel well' - have a perfect day, Claire xx
